What is Nubian Connections International?
Nubian Connections International is a specialist matchmaking agency connecting women of African, Caribbean and mixed heritage with accomplished men of all backgrounds. Founded in 2024 by certified coach Ena Chartier-Kokora, we offer personal, discreet introductions in the UK and internationally, in English and French.
Do you only work with Black women?
No. We specialise in women of African, Caribbean and mixed heritage, and women of every heritage are warmly welcome too. Our services, process and fees are the same for every client, whatever their background.
I am a man looking to meet a woman of African, Caribbean or mixed heritage. Is NCI right for me?
Yes. We welcome men of all backgrounds who value and seek a relationship with an accomplished woman of African, Caribbean or mixed heritage. We look for sincere intentions and genuine respect for each woman as a whole person.
Who are your clients and members?
Women and men aged 18 and over who are ready for a serious, lasting relationship and share our values: honesty, respect and clear intentions.
Where are you based? Do you work internationally?
We are based in London and work with clients in the UK and internationally, in English and French. Before accepting an international search, we discuss locations, travel expectations and the channels we can realistically use.

Our Services and Fees
What is the difference between Direct Connections and Prestige?
Direct Connections is our most accessible service: we write your profile and personal advertisement, present it to suitable members of our private network and, where appropriate, trusted partners, publish it in carefully chosen channels, and forward the responses. You choose whom to contact and manage your own conversations. Prestige is our most complete service: a personalised search in which we approach and assess potential candidates before proposing introductions, with personal guidance throughout.
How much do your services cost?
Direct Connections starts from £697, including your profile and advertisement, advice and publication in paid channels where relevant. The Prestige fee depends on the scope of your search and is confirmed after your private consultation, before you commit.
Do I need to choose a service before enquiring?
No. Your private consultation helps you understand the differences and decide whether either service suits your needs. It is an initial conversation without obligation.
Are candidates assessed in both services?
No. Direct Connections forwards responses for you to manage. Prestige includes candidate assessment before proposed introductions. Any specific checks included in Prestige are explained before you commit.
Is coaching included?
Coaching is offered separately and always by choice, with either service. If you would like personal coaching alongside your search, we will be happy to discuss it with you.
How long does a service last? Does it end after the first introduction?
The service period and completion terms are agreed before you begin. An introduction does not automatically end your service.
Do you guarantee introductions or a relationship?
No. We commit to delivering the agreed service. The availability of suitable candidates, mutual interest and the development of a relationship cannot be guaranteed.

How is free membership different from a paid service?
Free members may be considered for an introduction as part of a client’s search. Paying clients commission a defined service focused on their own relationship goals through Direct Connections or Prestige.
Who can join the private network?
Women and men aged 18 and over who are looking for a serious relationship and share our values. Every application is read personally, and membership is subject to acceptance.
Will I definitely be introduced to someone?
No. Free membership does not include a dedicated search, coaching or guaranteed introductions. If a client’s search appears compatible with your profile, we may contact you to explore your interest, and you decide whether to go further.
Is responding to a client’s advertisement free?
Yes. Responding to a specific client’s advertisement is free and does not commit you to a paid service. If you would like more opportunities, with your own profile presented to potential matches, Direct Connections or Prestige may suit you better.

How It Works
How does the process work?
It begins with a private consultation. Together we agree on your service, its scope, fee and service period. We then create a profile and personal advertisement that you approve before anything is shared, and begin the agreed outreach or search.
Will you advertise my profile publicly?
Only through channels agreed with you. You approve your advertisement before publication, and we distinguish between a shareable presentation and your private client record.
Do introductions take place online or in person?
Depending on your location and preferences, a first contact may take place online or in person. We discuss this with you before any introduction.

Privacy and Safety
How do you protect my personal information?
We handle your information in line with UK data protection law. It is used only to provide our services, shared only with your agreement, and you can ask to access, correct or delete it at any time. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Can I remain discreet?
Yes. Discretion is central to how we work. You decide what may be shared, with whom and through which channels.
Do you have advice for meeting someone safely?
Yes. Meet in a public place, let someone you trust know where you are, arrange your own transport, and never share financial details or send money. If anything makes you uncomfortable, tell us.

How can I join the team or become an ambassador?
We welcome enquiries from matchmakers, relationship coaches, independent matchmakers with their own clientele and ambassadors who would like to recommend NCI. Visit our Join the Team page to tell us about yourself.
